The handle is padded with neoprene and feels great in your hand. It's really night and day when you compare a padded handle to one that is not. Kind of makes you say... wow!
If you're out and about exploring the great outdoors and you dog wants a piece of the action, this is really a superb leash for that. We also added a D-ring so that you can clip a poop bag dispenser to it, but it can be used for other things too. You can wrap the leash around a post or fence and then attach the clip to the D-ring to make a quick tie out.
